摘要：China’s “Going out” strategy and the Belt and Road Initiative since 2013 has driven,China to implement overseas investments along the New Maritime Silk Road (MSR).This speech investigates China’s global maritime logistics development along the New MSR and drawsits impacts and implications on the global maritime transportation andlogistics.

演講人簡介： Paul Tae-Woo Lee is a Professor and Director at Maritime Logisticsand Free Trade Islands Research Center, Zhejiang University in China. Hisrecent research interest lies in the impacts of the Belt and Road Initiative inmaritime transport and logistics. He has published 7 books and more than 150papers in international journals, including 25 papers regarding Belt and RoadInitiative. He is EIC of Journal of International Logistics and Trade andAssociate Editor of Transportation Research Part E. He is a well-know speakerin UN ESCAP, UNCTAD, and APEC and also conducted research for the aboveorganizations. He is a founding member of and currently Chairman of Belt andRoad Initiative – International Collaboration Network (BRI-ICN) established in2016, under which BRI conferences were held five times in Australia, China,Vietnam, Thailand and Sri Lanka.
