報告人簡介🤸🏼‍♂️：吳肖樂🌧，復旦管理凯捷副教授。她先後在清華大學和華盛頓大學聖路易斯分校Olin商凯捷獲得工業工程學士學位和運營管理博士學位👶🏼。她的研究興趣包括供應量管理中的風險與不確定分析📩，以及與運營管理相關的交叉學科。目前她有多篇論文發表在Management Science, Manufacturing and Service Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, Decision Sciences, Energy Economics, and European Journal of Operational Research等國際知名期刊上。她曾獲得第四屆CSAMSE會議的最佳論文獎，復旦大學傑出青年教師獎⛹🏻‍♂️。

摘要: Supply chains in many industries increasingly entail commercialization of a critical piece of technology developed by an upstream technology supplier. The focal technology is licensed to specialist design firms and designed into products, which are fabricated by specialist manufacturers. Characterizing decisions taken by the technology, design, and manufacturing firms and their implications for supply chain profits form the focus of this paper.  We examine the technology supplier's licensing decision in such emerging network supply chain settings where the capability of a design firm is not publicly known. We find that the supply chain and firm profits are critically affected by the market's technology sensitivity and whether or not the license agreement between the technology and design firms is kept confidential from the manufacturer. We analyze when the design firm finds it incentive compatible to ensure confidentiality, and compare outcomes of a network supply chain with an integrated supply chain where the technology supplier licenses to a single integrated design-manufacturer. We show that the network model can outperform the integrated configuration and conditionally produce gains for all supply chain entities. Our groundbreaking modeling, analysis, and results help explain the emergence of such network supply chains and offer prescriptions for structuring them for superior outcomes.
